Understanding Meteorology and Marine Weather

Portland, Maine – TBD – Meteorologist and weather router, Ken McKinley, of Locus Weather will focus on how weather systems affect mariners and how you can use publicly available weather information to help make the best routing decisions. Participants will conduct simulated voyage planning using real weather data and will receive a weather manual with information, exercises and a resource list for future voyage planning.
