RE: Article on Fog
Dear Sirs:
This article hit home with me as I for the first time in my 8 years of sailing I experienced the full effects of fog while leaving the San Diego harbor entrance at 4:00 A.M. on a return from this years Newport to Ensenada Yacht Race. This article was sooooo appropriate to my situation. We were equipped with radar and G.P.S. and we cautiously and slowly maneuvered out of the harbor safely and away from the soup, but it certainly tested my comfort zone.
