For those boatowners looking for an excuse to sail to Maine in August, here’s your excuse: Hodgdon Yachts is sponsoring the Shipyard Cup in Boothbay Harbor.
From the press release: Following a spectacular 2010 event, founding sponsor Hodgdon Yachts is pleased to announce the 2011 Shipyard Cup will be held 26-28 August, 2011 in beautiful Boothbay Harbor.
The cup will again be run under Bucket Protocol rating rules. Race applications and other details will be emailed to those that pre-register and those that participated last year.
We are planning to make this year’s cup even better than last year’s so spread the word and plan to join us for a wonderful Maine event.
