At the Pacific Seacraft plant in North Carolina, the newest design in the fleet is taking shape. The company recently released some pictures of the 61 and this sailboat is a serious offshore machine, with a powerful rig that's nearly more schooner than ketch and a pilothouse that looks suitable for the Antarctic and rounding Cape Horn. This design has the lines of a true, go-anywhere voyaging boat.
