Full access to an unmatched online archive

After listening to our readers’ requests and suggestions, and in tune with our 20th anniversary celebration, Ocean Navigator has an updated website at www.OceanNavigator.com that gives extra value to print subscribers. In addition to upgrades that ease site navigation and offer added features, the new site provides print subscribers free access to Ocean Navigator’s unmatched online knowledge archive.

The archive contains more than 2,000 articles, including items not available in the print magazine, such as email newsletters and Ask the Expert pieces. No other magazine provides such an extensive online archive to its subscribers. “This searchable archive should prove to be quite useful to our readers,” said Sharon Roy, ON Web director, “especially for those who are voyaging and can’t take their back issues with them. All they need is a computer with an Internet connection, and they can access 10 years worth of articles.” The archive is searchable by author, title, subject and issue number.

Those going to the site who are not print subscribers will still have access to a limited number of “free” articles (about 25 percent of the archives). In addition, they will have access to the Boat, Gear and Services directory, as well as other site features.

Print subscribers can register for full site access at the site’s subscription center www.OceanNavigator.com/

subscribe. Current Web-only members will continue to receive full site access until their membership expires.
