Desjoyeaux wins Vendee Globe

French skipper Michel Desjoyeaux has won the Vendee Globe.  Desjoyeaux completed the singlehanded non-stop circumnavigation in 84 days, three hours, nine minutes, and eight seconds, beating the previous record by three days.  He wins a prize of €150,000.
