Cutwater Boats has announced its first National Cutwater Demo Days

Kent, WA—Cutwater Boats has announced its first National Cutwater Demo Days to be held on both the East and West coasts so buyers can have a firsthand experience on the new line of boats from builders and designers, Fluid Motion. Demo Days will be March 11-13, 2011 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Everett, WA. The Demo Days event follows the debut of Cutwater Boats at the Seattle Boat Show and the Miami International Boat Show and is an ideal opportunity for potential buyers to spend extended time aboard as well as under way to experience the ride of the boats.

The Cutwater 26 and Cutwater 28 will be on display during Demo Days on both coasts and interested buyers are invited to demo both models to compare features, layout and handling. However, demos are by appointment and should be arranged with the National Sales Manager, Mark Mansfield. The first appointments can be made at 9 a.m. and the Cutwater team expects to have the boats running nonstop through the end of the day to accommodate potential buyers’ schedules.

In Ft. Lauderdale, demos will be held at Pier 66 C-Dock and in Everett demos will be held at the Port of Everett Marina.

Since their debut, both the CW26 and CW28 have received favorable media coverage and strong buyer interest. The first two shows generated sales in the double digits for the new trailerable pilothouse cruisers. The marine industry is seeing a positive turn in earnings and the early sales of Cutwater Boats are in line with predictions that overall boat sales will rise this year from 2010. The innovative semi-displacement hull design fits a market need that allows boaters to cruise efficiently and with a fuel economy desirable in today’s market.
