Video of boats slammed on beach

Here is some intriguing and chilling video of boats going up on the beach during a storm in the anchorage at Phuket, Thailand. This during the 24th Phuket King’s Cup Regatta. Watch the people in the surf attempting to corral, by hand, 35- to 40-foot boats. These folks are lucky they didn’t get smacked on the head while attempting their rescue attempts. It’s great to make an effort, but at some point you have to recognize when the forces involved are way beyond human muscle power.
