Web-based barometer calibration tool

Seattle-based Starpath School of Navigation is offering online tools and instructions for voyagers that allow them to properly calibrate their vessel’s barometers. The tools include a calculator for determining your accurate barometric pressure (including conversion functions) based on the 10 nearest reporting stations to your position, detailed instructions on the calibration process, log forms, and spreadsheets to graph your correction factors. The calibration instructions and forms are available free of charge from the Starpath website at www.starpath.com/barometers.
