SteveD’Antonio, a long time technical writer, lecturer and contributing editor for Ocean Navigator announced he has formed a new company, Steve D’Antonio Marine Consulting (SDMC).Steve’s consulting services will include pre-purchase guidance for those in search of the perfect vessel as well as technical consultation for current vessel owners, boat builders and others within the marine industry.
“My commitment to my readers always has been to give them information that will make it easier, less costly and safer to enjoy their love of the boating. This new role will allow me to take that commitment even further through more direct involvement in all facets of the industry from boat and product manufacturers to working directly with individual boat owners.
For the past 5 years, Steve has been Vice President of Zimmerman Marine, a full service boat yard and custom boat builder in Cardinal Virginia.Steve will continue to work with Zimmerman Marine in a consulting capacity on technical matters.
