SSCA would like to introduce our new SSCA Homebase Management Team, ACCLAIM. We are making sure our membership has the support so critical in these times. With ACCLAIM, our growing outreach into the cruisers’ lifestyle will be supported efficiently. We highly value our Ocean Navigator – SSCA partnership and our members enjoy the magazine. We hope to ensure they all access and use the valuable articles and advice Ocean Navigator provides our membership.
We know our new SSCA Membership Coordinator, Nicole Economou, is an exceptional addition with her expertise in website management and accounting. She will be handling the day to day operations of SSCA, responding to emails sent to office@ssca.org and supporting membership. For Association Management, we are adding the expertise of Yvonne Kriss. She comes with exceptional credentials for association management needs and requirements, and she is a true professional for our association management.
As part of our efforts to modernize, SSCA has upgraded to a modern phone system capability, and will be adding functionality as we go forward. We are also utilizing a SSCA Partner, St. Brendan’s Isle for our Florida business address. Our phone and email addresses remain the same.

Our new Association Manager is Ms. Yvonne Kriss. Yvonne Kriss is the founder of ACCLAIM Professional Management Services (ACCLAIM). Since 1999, Yvonne has been the Executive Director of the Illinois Paralegal Association (IPA), a non-profit professional association. Since then, she has expanded her business to help manage a variety of other associations on multiple Association Management Software programs. From her first job at 13 years old working at her uncle’s hot dog stand on weekends, to working the over-night weekend shift in high school at White Castle, to Amtrak Reservations, to opening APMS, her focus has always been the customer. Yvonne has the proven ability to provide a personal touch that is required by member-driven associations, and has formed personal and life-long friendships with her clients and considers each one a part of the Acclaim Pros family.
And we have a new Homebase Membership Coordinator, Nicole Economou. Hers is the friendly voice you hear answering the SSCA phone when you call. Nicole Economou is an associate of Acclaim Professional Management Services (ACCLAIM). She joined the team in 2022 to help expand the growing company. Nicole always had a passion for communication and creativity, which led her to pursue a degree in marketing from Millikin University in 2015. Since joining the team, Nicole has broadened her skills in website management and accounting. Her excellent communication skills have led her to create lasting relationships with ACCLAIM clients. She works closely with them creating website content and newsletters, running social media accounts, providing customer support, and managing financial accounts. She is currently training to gain certification to become a QuickBooks Online Pro Advisor. Nicole remains committed to staying on top of the latest trends and technologies, and to providing her clients with the best possible service and support.
We know SSCA is in good hands with ACCLAIM as our members cruise and transit, helping us stay connected and informed.
