Northeast Ocean Racing Symposium

Saturday March 22nd, 7:30 AM- 5:30 PM Conference Center, Bentley University, Waltham, MA.  Moderated by blue water racing veteran Roy Greenwald, and sponsored by the Marion Bermuda Race, the Marblehead Halifax Race, the Bermuda 1-2 Race, and the Newport-Bermuda Race, the third annual, in-person only symposium features presentations on topics including offshore route planning; alternative energy generation options for offshore sailboats; an update on rope and line technology; sail materials, selection, and offshore repairs; offshore personal kit options – gear, boots and gloves; an incident report from the Newport Bermuda Race 2024; and crew recruitment, selection, alignment, and care.
