Women’s Sailing Conference in Marblehead

The third annual Women’s Sailing Conference, sponsored by the National Women’s Sailing Association, will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2004, at the Corinthian Yacht Club in Marblehead, Mass.

Each of the two previous conferences have been filled, some 150 women attending programs that encourage beginner and intermediate women sailors to seek on-the-water and classroom experience in all aspects of operating recreational sailboats. Seminar topics include engine repair and maintenance, navigation, sail trim, weather strategy, and emergency procedures.

Doris Colgate, co-founder and CEO of the Offshore Sailing School and founder of the National Women’s Sailing Association, is the keynote speaker. Contact the NWSA at www.womensailing.org.
