Women’s diesel seminar

Most voyaging men will be upset by this, but women like to work on diesel engines too. The days are gone when the men could expect to have a free reign bleeding the engine, changing the oil and swapping out fuel filters, etc.

The National Women’s Sailing Association is holding a diesel engine seminar at the Mack Boring Technical Institute in Union, N.J., on Saturday and Sunday, April 4th and 5th, 2009. The workshop furthers the National Women’s Sailing Association’s goal of providing women with educational opportunities and access to the sport of sailing. A multi-dimensional sport, sailing provides opportunities to develop skills and confidence in everything from boat handling and safety to navigation and teamwork.

Voyaging men should just chill out and have a beer.
