Caribbean weatherman David Jones, founder of the Caribbean SSB Weather Net, has joined the staff of ZBVI, an AM radio station based in Tortola, BVI. Jones will reportedly continue to serve mariners by offering weather information on a daily basis.
As a longtime sailor in the Caribbean, Jones brings his yachting experience to the radio station, which broadcasts on 780 AM as far as Grenada and the Dominican Republic.
The marine report will be broadcast Monday through Friday at 0805, Saturday at 0745, and Sunday at 0945.
