Vertigo wins Neptune Award

Sailing Yacht Of The Year Vertigo

From the press release: During a gala event in Istanbul this past weekend the Ṻbercool sailing yacht Vertigo was presented with the prestigious Neptune Award, acknowledging her as the Sailing Yacht of the Year. Vertigo also won the Best Sailing Yacht over 40metres Award.

After years of discussions, designs, meetings, engineering and building – the yacht that at Alloy Yachts, we knew had pushed us, challenged us and in the end satisfied us with an unbelievable sense of accomplishment, has been recognised by a global panel of superyacht owners and industry experts for an acknowledgement we knew she deserved.

Vertigo is 67.2 metres (220ft) in length. She was designed by Philippe Briand and her “Urban at Sea” interior was successfully interpreted by Christian Liaigre.

Vertigo is the culmination of her visionary owners, their representatives, the talented Philippe Briand, the gifted Christian Liaigre and Alloy Yachts’ ability to pull it all together into the incredible craft that she is today.

More information on Vertigo can be found on the Alloy Yachts website.
