Cheminees Poujoulat finished first in leg 2 of the
Velux 5 Oceans Race in Norfolk, Va., at 22:59:25 EST on Saturday, March 3. He has a huge lead over second-placed Kojiro Shiraishi of Japan, Stamm is a lock to win the race with one short leg back to the starting line off Bilbao, Spain still to sail. The final leg is set to begin on April 15.
