Ned McMahon of Primo Wind, San Diego, CA, a maker of nano-grid hybrid products using wind, solar, and battery storage, is excited to announce the partnership with Brad Read, Sail Newport and the Volvo Ocean Race. Brad was the 1986 College Sailor of the Year. So it’s no wonder Brad understands the role that sailing can play in a youth’s life. He has dedicated his career to it at Sail Newport, where he developed a nationally recognized sail education program and a world-class regatta management organization.
Brad led the team to bring the Volvo Ocean Race to Newport, the global race’s only North American stop. Sail Newport will be the home for 3 of Primo’s Energiplants.
