Revised radiofax frequencies

Radiofax Users and Publisher: There is now a new, added frequency for the Marshfield, Mass., radiofax broadcast schedule. It is intended that this new frequency will improve reception in the Northeast, including Georges Bank, according to Coast Guard Commander Tim Rulon.

See the following web site for details on scheduling and product description: http://weather.noaa.gov/pub/fax/hfmarsh.txt.

The Marshfield station now broadcasts on these four frequencies: 4,235 kHz (0230Z to 1015Z), 6,340 kHz (continuous), 9,110 kHz (continuous), and 12,750 kHz (1430Z to 2215Z).

Questions and comments about the new service can be directed to the NWS via email: marine.weather@noaa.gov.
