Racing yacht runs aground off Fire Island, NY

Gwaihir, a 40-foot racing yacht hailing from Newport, RI, ran aground off Fire Island, NY, Thursday, as she was en route back to Newport after wintering in Key West.
From EastBayRI.com:

The grounding made news across the East Bay Thursday and Friday, as Gwaihir, launched in 2007, was one of the more prominent recent builds by Portsmouth-based Al Fresco Composites. Built off plans by Rodger Martin Designs, she was built locally by Al Fresco, with sails provided by Hood Sailmakers of Middletown, rigging by Hall Spars in Bristol, and additional work by Goetz Custom Boats in Bristol and ROM Composites of Newport.
