Starting in September, voyaging boat owners can use the Web to learn from the masters how to find and avoid failure points on their vessels. Zimmerman Marine in Cardinal, Va., will be hosting a series of Web lectures on such topics as fuel systems, deck and cabin structural issues, and through-hulls and seacocks.
The presenters for this eight-lecture series will be Steve Zimmerman, president and founder of Zimmerman Marine, and Steve C. D’Antonio, Zimmerman Marine’s vice president of operations and an Ocean Navigator contributing editor. Participants also will be able to get advice from Zimmerman and D’Antonio by submitting questions online. Questions and answers will be posted on the website.
