Multi-wheel beats multihulls

Speed over the ground: The world speed record for a land sailing craft was set by Iron Duck, pictured above, in March at 116.8 miles per hour. Sailing on water may not be as fast as the desert variety, but at least we don’t have to worry about scorpions in our bunks.
