Kate Nota and her team onboard the J/111 Odyssey won the Ripple Effect Short Video Contest, part of the Ida Lewis Distance Race this past summer. The contest was developed with the idea of engaging young sailors (ages 14-20). The video efforts are designed to answer the question, “What do you like most about offshore/overnight sailing?” The young sailors were asked to answer the question via a video essay or documentary that ran five minutes or less.
