This photo was taken during their first offshore leg, between Block Island, R.I., and Wachapreague, Va.
They spent the summer of 2013 refitting the boat in New Bedford, Mass. After the time spent in the yard, they moved south to complete the vessel’s refit in warmer weather. You can follow Tranquility’s adventures at www.squiddingaround.org.
