Hank Keene retires from Edson

Hank Keene

Hank Keene, co-owner and general manager of Edson International announced his retirement from the company in April.

According to the company, “the effects of Parkinson’s disease no longer allow him to continue in his position.” For more than 38 years, Keene was involved in Edson management and helped engineer, design and manufacture Edson’s line of steering systems, wheels, davits, and other marine products. He served on the board of directors for the Massachusetts Marine Trades Association since 1979, and was president from 1992 to 1994. Edson International was founded in 1859. The company has been co-owned by Keene and his brother, Will, for the past 25 years.
