Expulsion decision pending for 2003 Americas Cup contendor

Controversy and litigation seem to go hand in hand with Americaand#39;s Cup racing, and it seems that the 31st Cup race in 2003 will not be an exception, even at this early date.

Accusations of serious impropriety have been lodged against Craig McCawand#39;s One World Challenge syndicate. The syndicate, which was hoping to draw attention to more altruistic concerns, such as environmental causes, is now facing possible expulsion from the competition. Whether or not improprieties, such as the syndicateand#39;s possession of certain measurement certificates and other documents, will be cause for expulsion is up to an international panel of judges.
