Catamaran manufacturer Silent Yachts has partnered with the Nuvolari Lenard studio for the design of a new generation of solar boats.
“The collaboration is a blend of Nuvolari Lenard’s sophistication and innovative approach to yacht design with Silent Yachts’ philosophy of sustainability and advanced technology,” said Silent Yachts CEO Fabrizio Iarrera. “The design studio’s architectural sensitivity will bring a refined elegance to Silent Yachts, bridging form and function in harmony. The goal is to enhance not just the aesthetics, but also the overall on-board experience.”
The first model from the collaboration, with a Nuvolari Lenard interior and exterior, will be launched in 2026. Every new Silent Yachts model up to aproximately 79 feet long will be designed by the studio, based in Venice, Italy.
While Nuvolari Lenard has designed many private yachts, the studio founded, in 1990 by Carlo Nuvolari and Den Lenard, has substantial experience with vessels measuring less than 80 feet. The company has worked with brands including Palmer & Johnson and MCY.
“Nuvolari Lenard brings the same passion and attention to detail to both superyachts and smaller semi-custom yachts, always maintaining our signature style,” the partners said in the statement. “We are excited to be working with Silent Yachts, who share our values of innovation, sustainability and a commitment to pushing boundaries.”
