Annapolis, MD. The Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show featuring Cruisers University is set to run April 27-29, 2012 at Annapolis City Dock and surrounding area. Producers of the renowned United States Sailboat Show and United States Powerboat Show in Annapolis each fall, USYS will present this first-time event to a large audience from around the country.
The City Dock area known as "Ego Alley" will be full of new and brokerage sailboats ranging in size from 30 to 60 feet. A large group of catamarans and mono hulls are registered from such noted builders as:

Bay Yacht Agency of Annapolis has announced that the Isara 50 catamaran will make its national debut at this event.
During the show, more than 100 land exhibitors will display their wares, and valuable prizes will be given away to lucky winners. An entertaining and informative Cruising Destinations Series of seminars will be available at no additional cost to all guests attending the show. In conjunction with the Annapolis Spring Sailboat Show, Cruisers University will be presented in its second annual and revised format at the Annapolis Waterfront Marriott April 26-29, 2012. Expanded to nearly 150 hours of classes with on-board courses, meals, a Thursday evening reception for cruisers and exhibitors, and special luncheon programs presented by SAIL, Cruising World, and Blue Water Sailing make up the most comprehensive cruising educational event available. Three registration options are available for Cruisers University, ranging from one- to four-day programs. A combination general admission ticket for the boat show and Annapolis Nautical Flea Market is $10 for adults, $4 for youth 7-12, and free for children six and under. The Annapolis Nautical Flea Market will take place on Saturday and Sunday with an entry fee of $5 for that venue only. Pre-show ticketing is available at www.usboat.com
