Alternative Bottom Paint Study Published

The Port of San Diego Alternative Hull Paint Study has been published and is available for download on the Port of San Diego Web site. A summary on the Web site says that, “The Port of San Diego has been involved in projects to identify viable hull paint options that boaters can select from to replace copper-based hull paints. These efforts are providing valuable information on the status of antifouling technologies and strategies used worldwide, as well as insight into how various non-copper coatings perform in San Diego Bay.”
