A marine painting takes shape

For fans of maritime painting, check out marine artist Jim Clary’s website. He is painting the seven-masted schooner Thomas W. Lawson. What makes this site fun, however, is that he is posting images of the painting in progress. So you can see how how paints the vessel’s sails and rigging and then brings it all together.
