Texan ranchers Sheila and Cecil Rhodes are recipients of this year’s Ocean Navigator Trophy at Trawler Fest in Anacortes, Wash. The award, an engraved tray by AGA Correa, was presented in May.
The award recognizes those sailors who have traveled the farthest by any means to reach the event; a celebration of power voyaging. In addition to their Nordhavn 55, Rhapsody, the Rhodes also cruise aboard their Pacific Seacraft 40.
The person who traveled the farthest to the event by water was John Graham aboard his Nordhavn 56, NordSail One. Graham made the passage from Mexico to Anacortes.
